Lots of stuff has been happening these past few weeks or so, sorry I haven't been very good and have not posted anything.
Snow is here to stay :-( It snowed last week sometime and it stuck to the ground and has not left since then. Most of the snow has turned into ice, and guess what they don't salt their roads!!! Makes driving even more of an adventure. Needless to say it is COLD!!!!!!! I think the average temp has been about -10 degrees C. I checked the other day and I think that is about 12 degrees F. I have heard all about the warm weather in KY, and don't want to hear anymore!!!!! I still haven't bought many winter clothes, although I did buy a nice warm coat just in time!!!
Two teachers up and left, kind of pissed most of us off, more so the way they left than the fact that they left. We have had massive rescheduling and I am now working 24 hours a week, but I still get about 4 days off. If anyone wants a job we are hiring!!!!!
Thanksgiving was pretty cool. We had a BIG dinner at Pam and Larin's apartment, I think there were about 15-16 people there, all Americans and Canadians. There are actually about 50 foriegners in Jilin, it is just a matter of actually seeing them around. The dinner was really nice, and like a thanksgiving at home we were not lacking any food!!!!
I am going to Shanghai for my winter break. I would still rather go to Hainan, but I am not sure if I could afford it or not. So instead my friend Wonderful and I are going to go to Shanghai and a few other places around there. We are going to Shanghai, Putuoshan, Wuxi, and Nanjing. We might spend a few days in Beijing also.
Teaching is still relaly cool. It can get aggrivating everynow and then, but I am really enjoying myself and don't know if I want to go back to a regular job in the states!!!!
