Quil'Sylar

The Quil'Sylar make their home deep in the forests of Ellandor, living miles away from the nearest town or village. In their woodland home they spend their days hunting for food and spend the nights drinking, singing and telling tales to each other around campfires.

Quil'Sylar often possess beautiful voices and are said to be able to charm the birds from the branches with a song. Although somewhat shy towards strangers the Quil'Sylar will usually welcome a peaceful traveler to their campfires at night, as long as they are willing to sing along with everyone else.

Due to the harshness of the forest, the Quil'Sylar are stronger than the other Sylar races and could match any human in a contest of strength. Also, due to having to catch their own food the Quil'Sylar are just as nimble as their Sul'Sylar cousins to the south.

By isolating themselves from the rest of Ellandor, the intellectual powers of the Quil'Sylari have somewhat diminished. They do however possess much wisdom about the workings of the land.

The Quil'Sylari dislike the mischievious Vexins and would probably need tying down to prevent them from putting an arrow through any Vexin they see. Their skills at archery are high, having been taught how to use a bow and arrow from the day they were able to hold one.

The language of the Quil'Sylari is Sylvan (need new name?), the low Sylar tongue. It's a musical and flowing language that suits their magnificent voices. Common is rarely taught to youngsters, although the adults do usually pick up a few phrases from passing travelers.

Most Quil'Sylar would feel quite lost if they were to find themselves in a city, or even a small village, having been brought up in a forest environment.

They tend to view the world through a neutral eye, although they do have strong morals and sense of right and wrong.
