Ronan Finally Says Yes
Sky News

Boy band fans, does it get any better than this?

First there was the news that Take That were reforming. Now this...

That's right, Boyzone, the fellas we turned to for solace after Robbie
left Take That, are planning a reunion tour. Yesss.
The announcement comes after Ronan Keating finally decided to take part,
after previously refusing to rejoin his bandmates.
The Love Me For A Reason hitmakers split in 1999 when Ronan went
solo. He's been reluctant to reunite Boyzone until now.
But Ronan's turnaround came at that happy event, Sir Elton John
and David Furnish's wedding, last month.
Fellow Boyzone member Stephen Gately persuaded Ronan to agree to
a comeback amidst the champagne and canapes.
Stephen said: "We had a long chat about reforming and Ronan is definitely
in. He said he can't wait to meet up with the rest of the lads again.
"It's now just a case of agreeing a time when everyone is free. We can't
wait to get out on stage again for the fans."
What next? The Spice Girls getting back together? Surely our cup runneth over...

Boyzone are following in the footsteps of Take That by planning a reunion tour.
Stephen Gately has revealed that the decision is fully backed by their
former manager Louis Walsh, and that Ronan Keating has agreed to join
the band on stage.
"We had a long chat about reforming and he is definitely in," Gately told
The People. "He said he can't wait to meet up with the rest of the
lads again. We've also talked to Louis and he's keen. It's now just a
case of agreeing a time when everyone is free.
"There's a lot of preparation to be done. I've started to hit the gym
again to get a bit fitter for the dance moves. I've also started a
diet to help me get in shape. As for the voice, there won't be a
problem there as I'm classically trained. We can't wait to get
out on stage again for the fans."
