Boyzone Bios

Mikey Graham

Born August 13, 1972, Mikey was the youngest of seven. Seen as the quiet one of Boyzone, Mikey originally wasn't selected to be part of the group, but when two of the original six members left the group, manager Louis Walsh asked him to join. Mikey did, and Boyzone as we know it was formed.

Sharing vocals, Mikey had leads on the first Boyzone release in Ireland, a remake of the Spinners' hit Working My Way Back To You. It was this song which got Boyzone the attention of the British recording industry, and ultimately a contract with Polydor Records.

Mikey released his first solo single in the Spring of 2000, a song he had performed on the last Boyzone tour called You're My Angel. His second single, If You'd Only (Make Up Your Mind) was released that fall, with his album Meet Me Halfway coming out in April of 2001.

Most recently, Mikey has been concentrating on writing and producing, building a studio at his home in Ireland and producing for such groups as Broken Hill. He has also acted in the movie Hey, Mr. DJ, which is currently in production.
