Speak

by E.J. Driscoll

I am done with whatever you have to say.

This is the last time that you will have your way.

No one will hear your screams.

Not one person maybe in your dreams.

Talk out loud; tell me that you love me.

Nothing will save you now, do not try to flee.

Fore you never talk, tell me what you are thinking.

Please tell me before I make you start drinking.

There is nothing in this world for you.

Not even one single thing for you to do.

Never mind, forget what you have done.

I was never really number one.

How could you do this to my dream?

Nothing is ever what it may seem.

Reaching out into the darkness, I see you there.

Laughing as if you had no cares.

You caress my body carefree.

As I let out a final plea.

No one loves you as much as I.

The least you could do is reply.
