Perish
by Nicholas Klacsansky
Soon I will perish
Under my chariot
Of poignant poesy
Leaving this corroded vessel
To unite with the celestial light
My specter of soul
Will finally be cleansed
From the water of life
Freeing demonic sufferings
That lay inside my split spirit
The emptiness I bear within
Will come to perfect nothingness
Casting out all that I am
Into the depths
Of the eternal death
Becoming the mystic presence
That lies beneath
My tainted essence
