Dying Flame

by Nicholas Klacsanzky

I shall banish you beyond

The dark depths

Oh seed of malevolence

Like a gallant knight

That rides on righteousness

Carrying only a surge

Of relentless holy zeal

I will no longer tolerate the torment

By your demonic grasp

That has torn my purity

Leaving only miniscule memories

Shimmering in a faint radiance

Of cold perception

Your destiny

Of inevitable eternal death

Is drawing near

Like a dying flame

Flickering in desperation

Awaiting its cursed darkness
