To Build a Wall

You build a wall to stop the rain.
You build a wall to stop the pain.
The walls keep away the cold and the heat.
The walls keep away the reasons you weep.
To top it off you build a roof so that you can
make it weather proof,
try as they may to knock on your door,
they will not get through
Oh-----those people you'll ignore.
The day comes along when you want to get out,
but you find there's no knob, so you give a loud shout.
Along comes a friend with out any doubt and builds
you a window so that you can see your way out.
