| I've fallen down and will not rise Lest I be shot down with brutality. I shall hide in my safe dark hole Letting the world pass me by. Let them do as they please For I will not be a part of that. The light may be bright, But it burns my violet eyes. It is a cold light that I have met with. The reality I found outside my walls Is a harsh and heartless one Those who walk upon the earth have forgotten Her. They ignore Her and rape Her. They destroy Her. I will not be a part of that. So I will stay as I am-in my dark hole. Wrapped in my shroud of black, A cold comfort I have grown to love. The happiness of you is not meant for me. I am the anti-thesis. The one who lives as you do not. I am your sadness, So you can have happiness. I am your violence So you may have peace. I am the darkness of your light. I am the hatred So you can love I am the fear For your security. I accept you unto me, And take your pains away. I take them unto myself, And you can live again. So go! Return from whence you came.
