The first words or phrases that come to mind when describing me can not be repeated by the polite, modest girl that I am. I will, however, venture on this identity sketch and say that words such as "difficult", "obstinate", "unorthodox", and "lazy" often appear to ring true, most often to the people who are just as difficult, obstinate, and lazy as I am in judging my character. I prefer more diplomatic, if even more appropriate adjectives: "challenging", "aggressive", "creative", and "particular" when describing my persona. Most people who know me will tell you, when asked, that I'm a fountain of "useless" knowledge -- but maybe I can be the person who makes up the questions for Trivial Pursuit, or Jeopardy, or even, if my useless trivia cup indeed runneth over, The Weakest Link.

The experiences that have shaped my admittedly "off color" personality, I prefer the word "endearing" by the way, have been largely outside of the schooling system -- usually while travelling, reading, and the forbidden -- talking to strangers!

My secret job lusts? Well, I've often dreamed of becoming a movie projectionist, a stewardess, an archivist, the bearded lady, a snake charmer, and a cocktail waitress, preferably simultaneously. Of course, I'd never let that interfere with my plans of being Snow White -- in Disneyland, not Disneyworld, me being the traditionalist that I am.

I'm constantly growing, changing, and thinking, which is the only thing keeping me from becoming a cynic, which I'm glad to report hasn't happened yet! I'm too optimistic, too fond of progressing, too idealistic for cynicism, though it's sometimes hard to tell, what with my glaring sardonic little anti-biography here.

In short -- I'm quirky, I'm optimistic, I'm unabashedly cheeky, I love to learn and I can't tell you anything about rational expressions, chemical bonds, or recite the Gettysburg address, but I make a mean lemonade, my spelling is impeccable, I'm fluent in Pig Latin, and I'm the unofficial poster-child for starbucks coffee

only because i can...
