Shopping

A favorite activity for Lynne is shopping on St. Simons.  Sometimes

even Jeff tags along to offer advice. There are many unique stores,

and it's hard to pick favorites, but we'll point out some you might

want to check out.

Art Galleries:

Be sure to check out Anderson Fine Art Gallery on Frederica Road, Glynn Art Gallery in the Village and Glenda Cason Art Gallery in Redfern Village.

Pane in the Glass has unique glass items, but also other interesting gifts.

Go Fish and Calabash have wonderful unique home furnishings and even

furniture.  Calabash has moved to downtown Brunswick.

NatureGifts also has unique yard art, jewelry, and items by local artists.

Clothing:  It's hard to pick favorites, so check out as many places as

you can! Carousel is a wonderful children's shop.  It's at Retreat Plaza,

across from the airport.  Also check out the Bailey Boys, Beecher's for Kids and the Swing Set for some distinctive children's island attire.  There are numerous shops for ladies and men's clothing - something for every taste!

Bookstores:  The BookMark and G. J. Ford Bookshop both have good

selections.

For a unique souvenir consider a handcrafted St. Simons charm from

Chadwick's Jewelers in Redfern Village or Chadwick's Too in the Pier

Village.

There's also the Stitchery Shop, Seaside Basket Boutique with lots of unique items, two toy stores, and Del Sol, a store that carries items that change color in the sun!
