My Wedding...August 8, 1998
I married Joe, whom I initially met on August 16, 1996 at an internet gathering of Monkees fans in a Denny's restaurant. For me, it was love at first sight - for him, he was overwhelmed that I, being the president of Davy Devotees, was the same age as he. Despite the fact that he lived in Chicago and I lived in Indianapolis, we made it work. We had originally planned on making the wedding August 16 to commemorate our first meeting but I wanted to keep that day separate. That's my fairytale romance in a nutshell!
It took forever to find the right dress. The amazing thing was that after months of unnerving searching, I found this one at the last shop I went to. I had it ordered for me and it needed no alterations! It was meant to be!
