Here (at last) is a home for some software I've developed over the
years,
which is freely available.
All I ask is that you keep my name on it, and send me any
fixes/upgrades.
Too many years ago to recount, I needed a tool to copy mag-tapes. I threw this together back on a Sun 1/150U workstation. It can copy and verify tapes with multiple files per tape. It requires no disk space, but does need two tape drives. They do *not* have to be on the same machine. It has been ported to several UNIX systems, and has grown a few features for dealing with odd-structured tapes. Available as a shell archive of source code only in tapecv.txt.
