SPOTS!

Don’t you just HATE them? I do…

There are a few things that you might find useful to know

I warn you about some rather detailed information here that might turn your stomachs!

Keeping them at bay Removing Concealing them

First off, it’s natural! You’re going to get them anyway! And women don’t mind them at all, as they get spotty too but we still see them as gorgeous babes! But what reasons do we get them for?

Greasy skin

During puberty your hormones go CRAZY! This stimulates things such as your voice getting deeper, but on your face it stimulates the pores that create grease… a little too much! Not to worry though, the grease keeps your skin moist, as opposed to dry and flaky, which is quite painful, you will find. What’s to do?

Shaving

Yes, boys, shaving! It’s when a boy becomes a man and quite exciting at first. Trouble is, our young and sensitive skin cant cope with the razor going over and over.

Not shaving!

Yes, even not shaving will give you spots! I shave every 3 days, which mostly keeps the spots on the low but if leave it any longer, white heads pop up! L Time your shaving wisely my friend!

STOP THAT SPOT!

After shave

Boys, we’re in luck here! Fortunately, we can use after-shave, which is a solution of alcohol and aroma. The after-shave is a disinfectant kind of thing (not medically) and once you burst (yuk!) your white heads, will dry them up

Toothpaste

With toothpaste you are generally suffocating the spot. Put some on the spot at night before you go to bed and by morning the paste will have dried up, with the spot under, ready for a scrubbing off.

Removing them!!

Depending on where the spot is, how big and so on, some hurt more than others.

You don’t really want to burst them too soon; you’ll end up with a bigger one after. White heads, the most common form have to have their heads removed off the top

Where to do it

Soft, tender spots are easily removed by squeezing gently in front of a mirror to see what you are doing.

Hold it between two fingers until it POPS! and use a tissue to squeeze all the pus out. After the pus is removed it will bleed a little, which will also need seeing to. Wash it and leave it as dry as possible.

The tougher ones, however, need more POWER put against them!

Try scrubbing them in the shower

MORE COMING!
