What is emulation?

Emulation is games (somehow) ripped from their original cartridges and converted onto the PC

How does it work?

How should I know? The game themselves are turned into ROMs which are relatively small files which is basically a carbon copy of what it was before when it was on its cart.

How do I get ROMs to work?

You need an emulator program that can understand the ROM's language. The emulator program is basically a copy of the console on your computer

Why should I emulate?

Most emulated games are games that have been deleted or aren't produced any more
