I found Merlin in the backyard of Lynn and Rodney Thams of Kimtash Collies in Bowral NSW. He was a 7 week old puppy that i was only going to look at but just had to have. I was lucky my mother felt the same way. He came home to live with us about a week later and quickly established himself as the clown of our house. In the show ring Merlin's antics make him noticed, whether he wins his class or not, it is very hard to overlook his playful nature especially when its tug of war in the middle of the challenge line up! All that said Merlin has done well in the ring to date, winning best headed at 6 months of age at a collie specialty show and also a Minor Puppy in Group at Dalwood in sydney. Merlin is starting to grow up and look like a big dog. I am very excited about his future in the ring. |
