I could make jokes about Melton Reservoir being in the middle of nowhere but that would be unfair to the local people who turned up to support the girls. All 30 of them, plus the Victorian faithful who have been travelling to just about every Nitocris gig they could get to. As you can see from the photos the ultimate irony was the crowd barrier. The girls were supposed to play at the end of an Extreme Sports day. However, as soon as the sports were over most of the kids in attendance left with their folks. It was not the sort of place you could get to without a car. Despite the small crowd, the girls put on a great show and everyone there enjoyed the intimate surroundings.
