The heavens opened and said "you have to do one more". A lot has already been written about the girls last show at the Newtown Festival. Rather than add to the many words of admiration already written about the band, and about the sorrow of them bringing it to an end, I will share with you a question I asked Gana at the Town Hall Hotel during the after show recovery. I asked her if this was the end, or the beginning of the next chapter. She simply replied "both." Unless you have been on another planet since November 11th, you would already now that their final show turned out to be their final four and a half songs. Luckily I took lots of photos early. |

Then the rain came down and the show had to be stopped. I was at the very front and could see the water running across the stage. You can say what you like, but it was too dangerous to continue. After the rain had eased, the girls came back out and spent time with their many fans. There was lots of hugging and crying, and lots of autographs. Kira was even presented with the remains of the guitar she broke at the BDO. |

Many of the fans adjourned to the Town Hall Hotel to have a drink or two with the girls. At one stage Kira, Jess and Andi gave us their version of Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love, supported by the Blues duo performing there at the time. |
