November was a depressing month because neither Mark nor I was asked to
Preference, a girls-ask dance. Our moods quickly changed though, because
Anna & Margaret wrote us a really sweet note and asked us to come with them
to Salt Lake City the next day. We were so very excited; Anna is an good old
friend of ours, and she introduced us to Margaret, who is an uncommonly pretty girl,
and very thoughtful. In response to their note, Mark and I quickly wrote this
song, which we hired Donnie & Pablo to play for them. Even though the plans
to go to SLC fell through, we had a great time watching a football game with
these two very special girls.
