TRAVELING FOR FUN
K5 CHEVY BLAZERS
Google
My first full size K5 Blazer.  Many modifications thereafter:  bored 454 with nitro and water injection installed, 3500 rpm stall torque converter, locking rear end.  It ran really well, traded to 1985 full size K5 Blazer, ten years later.  This was the Blazer that "hooked" me on to the K5s.  It was later painted silver, but in my opinion, never looked as good as when it was black.
Traded this Blazer to the 85 below

I was the second person to own this K5 Blazer.  It was black when I purchased it, but was later painted red.  Again, I think black was the best color.  Very nice Blazer.  One of four, that I have owned or currently own.  I traded this Blazer for a Camaro Z28.

I was the second person to own this K5 Blazer, as well.  To date it has been in 48 of the United States, and multiple times in many states.  It went 247,000 miles on the original engine without being rebuilt.  I have just installed a new GM crate engine, and new paint. Now it's back on the road again, to see just how long it will last!

Same '87 Blazer Earlier
I purchased this K5 Blazer from the original owner on 8/18/05, and it has every option offered as of 1988.  It's all original and has 3,573 miles on it at this time.  It had never been rained on, or the seats directly sat on (without being covered by a towel), until the day I drove it home.  It has been stored in a garage covered by quilts and a tarp for 19 years.  The air conditioner still works, along with power windows, door locks, and rear window.  Drive shafts still have the paper stickers with the part numbers on them.. Rear differential cover still has quality grease pencil marks - rear gear ratio 2:73.  The oil was changed only once at 3,000 miles.  It runs and drives like new, inside and out looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.  Basically a new 1988 full size K5 Blazer.  Undoubtedly, one of a kind!
