The Misadventures of a Water Molecule: The Story of the Water Molecule: by Andy
The Water Cycle is the least common cycle on the African Savanna, and even this is an ever-changing cycle due to the wet and dry seasons experienced by the African Savanna. Even the wet and dry seasons are perpetually changing due to pollution and global warming. As the sun comes up the water molecule is released from the soil and begins to travel upward toward the clouds gathering overhead. The water molecule joins trillions of water molecules. As this happens the cloud gains weight and it must release some water lest it fall from the sky. The high winds blow the cloud over the ocean where thousands of raindrops hit the ocean. However, our friend the water molecule has stayed on board the cloud. Later the cloud picks up more moisture from the hot ocean and the ocean water falls again into a stream and is drunk by an animal. The animal combusts the water and uses the water to clean the blood stream. The water that hits the soil either peculates down to the aquifer or is taken up by the roots of plants and through photosynthesis, makes sugars that the plant can use to grow. The water waste is allowed out as vapor through the stomates where it goes back into the clouds. The water in the aquifer travels underwater until it hits a body of water where it is released by springs into the water bod. The water molecule is released through evaporation to the atmosphere where it joins its "kin" to make the entire cycle all over again
