BIOGRAPHIES

Terrance (Terry) CANON: d. 2 Dec 2002 in Morgantown. Survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters. He was coal miner, a member of the UMWA, and the Mt. Top Hunting Club. (Obit: Parsons Advocate, 11 Dec 2002)

William Cavanaugh III: William Edward Cavanaugh III, 58, of Chantilly, Va. and formerly of Thomas, passed away peacefully Aug. 10 following a brief battle with cancer at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Chantilly, Va. He was born April 5, 1948, in McKeesport, Pa., a son of the late William Edward Cavanaugh Jr. and Evelyn Gazelle Topper Cavanaugh. He is survived by his wife Sharyn Cosner Cavanaugh, and one son William Edward Cavanaugh IV of Chantilly, Va. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 22.  Interment  in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Thomas. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. (Obit: Parsons Advocate, 16 Aug 2006)

John SMIGAL: I retired from the Federal Government as a National Bank Examiner. As a result of the severe decline in the economy, I have continued to work as a state bank examiner in VA. I have been married to Joyce HINKLE for 26 years; we have two sons, and two grandchildren. I remain active in the Air National Guard.
