Joanna Carrie BARNETT: b. 28 Nov 1936, Red Creek, m. Jennings R. LIPSCOMB, had three sons, Joseph, Jerry, and Robert, a daughter Jean Hymes. She was employed at Parsons Head Start as a school teacher, where she worked for 12 years. She was the owner of Joanna's Ceramics, a homemaker, and a member of the Methodist church. (Obit. Parsons Advocate, 13 Mar 2002)
John E. MEYER: John E. Meyer, enlisted in the US Air Force in 1954 after graduation. His
served two overseas tours, one in Korea and one in Vietnam. His favorite assignment was with Major General Stanley T. Wray as his aide while at
Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio. At this point he was selected to model the latest enlisted uniform. After getting out of the service, he sold cars
for a couple of dealers in the Morgantown area. At the time of death he was married to Carolyn Synder Gwynn. He had four stepchildren and one step
grandchild at his death, but would have seven grandchildren now. John is
