Mary Lou COMBS: Married Norman L. PHELPS (DHS Class of 1947), she is survived by her husband  of 48 years, two daughters, five grand-children, and 2 great-grandchildren. (Obit: Cumberland Times, 1 Jul 2000)

Carl K. KLINE: 72, Morgantown, WV, d. 27 Dec 1932, Morgantown; b. 2 Jul 1932, in Davis, WV, s/o William and Cleo L. (Snyder) Kline; member Wesley U. Meth. Church; graduate of Davis HS, and Wilmington College; veteran U. S. Army; manager Allegheny Power, retired in 1992; member of Rotary; survived by wife of 49 years, Gaylona (Pisle) Kline; daughter, Susan (m. David) Jackson; son William E. Kline (and Mary Beth); brother John Kline, 3 grandchildren; preceded in death by brother William Kline; sister Helen Knotts, and 1 grandson. Cremation with interment to follow at a later date in Davis, WV. (Obit: Dominion Post, 30 Dec 2004)

Dolores SKAR: Dolores B. Skar, 70, a 50-year resident of Annapolis, died of natural causes Jan. 22 at her home. Miss Skar was born in Davis, W.Va., on Jan. 10, 1933. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from West Virginia University. She taught corrective reading at Annapolis Junior High School and Central Middle School. Miss Skar was a member of the Teachers Association of Anne Arundel County, the Maryland State Teachers Association, the National Education Association and the Retired Teachers of Anne Arundel County. Reading and art were her interests. There are no immediate survivors. (Obit: Maryland Gazette, 25 Jan 2003)
