BIOGRAPHIES

Robert "Lee" ALLMAN: age 85 of North Canton, Ohio, died March 11, 2005. He was born on March 5, 1920, at Canaan Valley to the late John and Margaret Carrico Allman. He is survived by his wife Twila, they had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary; a son, Robert Jr. (and Susan) Allman; a daughter Sheryl (and Stephen) Svetlak; eight grandchildren, Virginia, Elizabeth, Sheryl, Laura, Robert III, Stephen Jr., Abigail, and Stuart; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven T. Allman, seven brothers and four sisters. He graduated from Davis High School and Catherman's Business. He worked as an Auditor for the former S.J. Groves & Sons Construction Company until his retirement in 1975.  He was a member of Simpson United Methodist church, L'Anse Lodge No. 547 F & A.M. of Lance, MI, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, and was a former Member of Massillon Elks Club. Funeral services were held March 29 at the Reed Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond L. Tucker officiating.   A Masonic Funeral Service was conducted by William McKinley Lodge No. 431 F.& A.M. Interment was in the Old Tennant Church Cemetery in Tennant, N.J. 

Marguerite Lawrence ZIZUNAS: d. 3 Jun 2003, in Thomas, WV. She was b. 6 Apr 1920 in Davis, m. 30 Aug 1941 to George ZIZUNAS, who d. in 1973. She was employed by Union Savings and Trust Bank in Warren, OH for 25 years. She was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church. She is survived by 2 daughters, and a brother. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. (Obit. Parson Advocate, 2003)
