Miscellaneous etc.

Around eighth grade I consciously understood that I was enjoying certain movies more than others. Six years later, I've dedicated a sturdy portion of my life to determine what it is about these movies that I like and how to recreate that in my own work. The following six movies have all drawn me closer to the answer. I would that I could relive my first experience with each of them. So, just as the filmmakers gave me the gift of these films, I pass them on to you with my blessing.

1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. The Matrix
3. The Sixth Sense
4. Searching for Bobby Fischer
5. Babe
6. Quiz Show
7. Rushmore

So now then.

I urge you to nod your head in agreement, perhaps curse my ignorance, or maybe rush out and rent one this second. Accept this information actively. I endorse each of these six gems wholeheartedly. (And the inclusion of Babe isn't a mistake.)
