Hello and welcome to the Davis family website.
We finally made it down to the local beach at Pax River to get our family picture taken. We got to the beach and forgot the camera! So Steve drove back to the house to get it. Caroline and I played in the water. She really enjoyed getting her feet wet. Then we played in the sand. Steve got the camera set up on the tripod and we used a little camera remote to take many pictures. We figured we would get at least one good shot. It was a lot of fun. Over the Labor Day weekend, Pax River Naval base hosted the Air Show. Saturday morning we headed out to see all the static displays and made it home to watch the 'show' from our front yard. When the blue angels started to fly I told Caroline to watch the planes do a loop in the sky. Needless to say every time we go outside Caroline will say, sky, plane, loop. She reminds me every day of this. lol. I think we'll hear about this until the next air show!
Our little 17 month old is full of energy. Her little brain is soaking up everything around her. I asked her the other day if she could count to five and when I got to five she said six, nine, nine...So she is working on counting now. She also enjoys saying 'abc'. She will also go and get my bible and bring it to us and say psalms! I am thankful for what the Lord is doing in the hearts of my family.
Starting October 1st Steve will start a new government job supporting the JSF program. He will still work on base just do different tasking. He is really excited about this too. It's a little less stressful so that is a blessing for him.
The weather is cooling off some and the beauty of fall is just around the corner. I am looking forward to opening my windows.
