Soft plastic lures impregnated with scents can be effective at tricking
bass into holding onto a lure longer. Two often-used flavors are salt
and garlic. Add two teaspoons of each to one package of your favorite soft
plastics and throw them into your tackle box. As time goes by, the
seasonings will adhere to the baits, thus increasing your chances of
hooking otherwise lost fish. You would be surprised at the difference it
will make!
