We put in at Dale Hollow State Park today around lunch time.  Water temps were 55-60 degrees and stained. Water clarity was about 4 feet on the main lake and less depending on the area of the lake we were in. For the most part, the fishing wasn't very good for us. The winds were HOWLING at around 20-25 mph and the waves were brutal. We fishing in Sulpher Creek as we only had a Kentucky license. We did manage, despite the raging winds however, one keeper smallie at 14 1/4 inches long. I think I hit it in the mouth while it was yawning....... :-) ....... It came on a red wigle wart crankbait in about 8 feet of water off some chunk rock. It was the ONLY hit we took all day. Oh well, sure beat a day of work though............ :-)
