We fished Herrington Lake on 4/02 and caught several fish in the 20+ mph winds........ :-) ....... We found fish in the mid-lake area on primary and secondary windblown points and adjacent banks using black/chrome/orange jerkbaits, black/black jig, and chrome/blue-back rattletraps. Although the catches were sporatic, with most coming on the jig in 15+ feet of water, it was still a fun day nontheless. The lake is finally beginning to clear up some (both trash and clarity) and with the surface temps hovering around the 60 degree mark, the fishing should only get better and better.
