| I fished today for just a couple hours. Didn't really have much time, but I wanted to get my jig wet. The temps have risen into the high 60's and have been steady now for about a week. Although the water is still cold, the first cast of the first trip this year yielded a nice two pounder. I wish every trip would start like that!!!! Anyway, it was a beautiful spring day with the temps hovering close to 70 degrees and light winds. Even though I ended up with only 1 fish, I still enjoyed the trip. Sure beat the heck out of working...... :-) |
