This is my all time favorite author of a continuing series. The more she writes, the better the series gets. The books are all about the main character Anita Blake who is a Animator/Necromancer, Vampire Executioner, Vampire Human Servant/Lover, Nimir-Ra for a WereLepard Pard and Bolverk to a WereWolf Clan. The stories are set in St. Louis Missouri in a world were vampires, zombies, faries and were-animals are real & live right next door to you. Anita works for a Animator Agency were she raises zombies for a living along with helping out the police preternatural crime unit on tough cases. To sum up- she is a bad-ass chick who fights monsters and sleeps (read sex) with them too.
