| What: The Calico Christmas Show (formerly the Calico Country Bazaar) When: Saturday, Nov. 25th, 2006, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (the saturday after Thanksgiving) Where: Docia Sweet Hall, Curry County Fairgrounds (Event Center on the Beach) Who: Regional Artist and Artisans Why: To sell their handmade works of art and fine craft to the public. How: The show was started by Dee Boughton and a friend in 1986. In 1987, Mary Ann Gray and Mary Ann Lopez took over and after about 10 years, Mary Ann Gray ran the show by herself.
