HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!! This thursday night cancel all plans because a great show is coming up. At PIS it will be Volt Negative, and Xternal Bliss, along with Drifter, A horror story, and in the time of cholrea. all the details of course are on the shows page. we are really looking foward to this show. we hope to see everyone there. -dwh2-

A good day for Volt Negative. After checking out scooter's guitar head, we realized the simplicity of the problem and fixed it promptly. Volt Negative is booked to play July 7th at PIS with X-ternal Bliss (more info is on shows page) this show is going to be good, there is no doubt about it. -dwh2-

Father's Day, a day to celebrate how much we appreciate our dads, came to a sorrowful end as one of our close friends, Robert Nall, lay in a hosptital bed in Tampa after a horrible accident while riding his motorcycle. He recovered from internal bleeding twice yesterday and everything is looking up. He is in our prayers and we hope that he has a speedy recovery.

Yes, Scooter is okay. His marshall head isnt so okay. After he feel into his amp friday night, it has been decided that the head needs to be fixed due to the fact that its impossible to plug a cord into it now. needless to say, we played the best we could with the circustances we were given. So in other news. Volt Negative has decided its time for new recordings, and not the ones you have heard before, ones recorded in a studio, we figure with a better EP and demo we will get better shows. we have decided on at least 5 songs, but more than likely there will be 6, after we get this done, look for some heavy promotion. thanks to all those who have been here so far, it only gets better from here -dwh2-

Its getting closer and closer, pretty soon all of Volt Negative will be under one roof again. The new material should definately not be far off after that. we are getting into more and more shows. this year we have already played 75% of the same amount as shows as last year in about 40% of the time. this is an awesome sign. we are also working on getting a bit of merch together, talk of an EP is still in the air. Volt Negative is just getting started. -dwh2-

Thank you to everyone that made it to our Friday Night show, it was really cool of everybody to do that considering all the confusion that went on. we look foward to coming back to Skatezone and cant wait until the 25th. Also, At Once is available for download on our songs page -dwh2-

Well its a new year...The Jimmy Eat World show rocked, but it left us feeling out of place. we as a band have watched many shows. now it is time for us to be the show more than watching it. we are working hard at getting our new stuff recorded. the downfall of self production is that we have just our self obviously. we want our new recordings to come out a lot better, then previous ones. We want better shows. so i wish i knew how long it would take to get all this done but im not a god, so therefore i do not know. it will be worth it when this is done though. -dwh2-

Well to anyone that reads this. All good things come to an end at times. No Volt negative isnt breaking up and we are no where near that. Unfortunately our good friends in the band Starlite Motel have parted ways. We dont know all the details and im not gonna worry about them too much. It sucks with the way the industry is now, its harder for really talented bands to make it/get more noticed. when bands like the darkness get the attention. the reason the music business sucks is because its that, a business. with it being harder to get a band noticed it makes it more likely for a band to break up. anyway enough ranting. We wish all the members of Starlite Motel the best with their new ambitions and we know if they put as much energy and devotion into their new projects they will succeed. From Volt negative to Starlite, thanks for the awesome shows you put on sorry, I (david) could only make a couple and If We Switch Drivers is still a great album. well enough bad news for tonight. -dwh2-
