School Design
This page is an ongoing work on a school design.  More ideas will be posted along with more plans.
The classroom pictured above has many advantages over a traditional clasroom.  First, it has two doors, which allow for multiple entry and exit paths.  3 of the walls have windows to provide a connection to the outside area, which has both open areas for activities, as well as shaded areas for outside classes.  The classroom has adequate storage in the form of bookcases and other wall storage areas.  The arrangement of tables facilitates group work and student interaction.  The computers on the right side are for individual as well as group projects.  The class also has an aquarium with fish for the students to take care of.  Areas are provided for in-class cleanup.  A water fountain completes the classroom furnishings.  Note that the tables can be moved to allow for large group work.
