"Good Luck, Father Ted" (21 April 1995)
This the the first episode of Father Ted. A television reporter comes to interview Ted,
but confusion arises at a local carnival, and he mistakenly interviews Dougal instead.
"Entertaining Father Stone" (28 April 1995)
Father Stone, the most boring priest ever, visits Craggy Island.
Ted and Dougal would try anything to get away.
"The Passion of Saint Tibulous" (5 May 1995)
Bishop Brennan orders Ted and Dougal to protest a controversial movie.
"Competition Time" (12 May 1995)
This is the first episode which features Ted's rival, Father Dick Byrne
and his colleagues from Rugged Island. Ted has his heart set on beating Dick in the
Stars in their Eyes Priests Look Alike Competition.
"And God Created Woman" (19 May 1995)
Ted mistakenly believes a steamy romance author fancies him when she comes to stay
at the Parochial House
"Grant Unto Him Eternal Rest" (26 May 1995)
This is the Series 1 finale. Father Jack dies after drinking a bottle of floor polish.
He leaves 500,000 pounds to Ted and Dougal if they follow his dying wish.
How could they kill off Jack after the first season? Hmm...
Series 2 (1996)
"Hell" (8 March 1996)
It's July 19, time for Ted, Dougal, and Jack to take their annual holiday. This year they visit a friend's
mobile home. As usual chaos and trouble ensues. We have the great pleasure of meeting Father Noel Furlong for the first time
(hilariously played by Graham Norton). Each episode of Series 2 features a guest appearance by Father Larry Duff
(Think of Kenny from South Park...poor Larry).
"Think Fast, Father Ted" (15 March 1996)
When the Parochial House roof starts leaking, Ted asks Bishop Brennan for a prize to raffle off.
Unfortunately, Ted damages the prize. Don't worry, he's got a plan.
"Tentacles of Doom" (22 March 1996)
Three bishops come to visit when Craggy Island's Holy Stone of Clonrichert is upgraded
to a Class II relic. The boys must be on their best behavior.
"The Old Grey Whistle Theft" (29 March 1996)
Someone stole a local man's whistle. Who did it? Ted? Dougal?
"Song for Europe" (5 April 1996)
Ted and Dougal write a Song for Europe. Will their song, "My Lovely Horse" win the competition?
"The Plague" (12 April 1996)
Father Jack's nude sleepwalking habits force Bishop Brennan to come for a visit. Dougal's new rabbit
multiplies like mad. Can they hide the rabbits from the bishob (who has a fear of rabbits)?
"Rock A Hula Ted" (19 April 1996)
Ultra-feminist singer Niamh Connolly is looking for a house on Craggy Island. She claim the church
is sexist. How will she and Ted get along? Meanwhile, Dougal is uncomfortable talking with women (he just doesn't know
what to say). Ted advises him to treat
them nice and make sure they're comfortable. Does Dougal follow Ted's advice?
"Cigarettes, Alcohol, and Rollerblading" (26 April 1996)
Ted and Dick Byrne are in the midst of a Giving Things Up Competition (at least Ted thinks so) during Lent.
Ted is to give up smoking, Dougal is to quit roller blading, and Jack is to stop drinking. Can they handle a month without their vices?
"New Jack City" (3 May 1996)
The unpleasant and inconsiderate Father Fintan Stack moves into the Parochial house to replace Jack. Jack has been sent to the old priests' home
for reaching stage 6 of the "Hairy Hand Syndrome."
"Flight Into Terror" (12 April 1996)
This is the Series 2 finale. Ted, Dougal, and Jack are flying home along with a plane full of priests. Due to Dougal's
technical expertise, the plane is running out of fuel and will soon crash. There are only 2 parachutes on board. Who will get them?
Is this the end for our favorite priests?
"A Christmassy Ted" (24 December 1996)
This is a Christmas Special. Ted is set to be awarded the Golden Cleric for getting a group of local priests
out of a sticky situation in Ireland's largest lingerie section.
Series 3 (1998)
"Are You Alright There, Father Ted?" (15 March 1998)
Through a series of mishaps and misunderstandings, Ted offends
Craggy Island's Chinese population and is labeled a Nazi racist.
"Chirpy Burpy Cheap Sheep" (20 March 1998)
Ted bets the Parochial house's annual heating allowance on Fargo's prize sheet, Chris, in the annual
King of the Sheep competition. Chris' performance suffers with the rumors of a mysterious beast on the loose. Can Ted help Chris
and save his money?
"Speed 3" (22 March 1998)
In a spoof of the Speed movies, Ted gets the sleazy milkman (Pat Mustard) fired. Dougal takes over, but Pat wants revenge.
"The Mainland" (3 April 1998)
Ted, Dougal, Jack, and Mrs. Doyle head to the mainland for a day trip. Ted and Dougal get lost in in
"The Very Dark Caves" with Father Noel. Will they ever find their way out? Can they survive being stuck with the annoying
Father Noel? Who will end up in jail?
"Escape From Victory" (10 April 1998)
This is the first of a two-part episode. It's time for the annual "Over-75 Five-a-Side Soccer Match" between
Craggy Island and Rugged Island. Craggy Island's star players are dropping out like flies. Can Ted somehow manage to
coach his team to victory?
"Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The Arse" (17 April 1998)
After losing his bet with Dick Byrne in the previous episode, Ted must boot Bishop Brennan in the rear.
"Night Of The Nearly Dead" (24 April 1998)
TV host Eoin McLove visits the Parochial house when Mrs. Doyle wins a poetry competition. Is he
as charming as he appears on TV?
"Going To America" (1 May 1998)
This is the final episode of Father Ted. Father Buzz Cagney visits Craggy Island to recruit Ted to a church
in America. Dougal, Jack, and Mrs. Doyle mistakenly think they're going too. Will Ted leave Craggy Island? Sadly, Dermot Morgan, who played Father Ted, passed away the day after filming this episode.
