Tennessee Volunteers VS Syracuse Orangemen |

Well the Vols took the field again this past Saturday
as they took on the orangemen of Syracuse. The Vols first possession looked
really promising. Clausens connection with Stallworth for at 37 yard TD pass only
two minutes into the game. Vol fans excited with hopes of a repeat of the 1998
season. But as the game went on those hopes seemed to go out the window. Even
though we won the game it wasn't a pretty win. Sitting in the stands was proof that
a lot of fans were not happy with Clausens performance. With the gators in the near
future, if the Vols don't work out some of the offensive problems we will be eaten alive.
The Vols defense however looked incredible as usual. Chavis has a top notch
team. But with all that said, it was the first game of the season and I know those
first game jitters are behind us. As the season goes on I know that the Vols will improve
to the point where once again we are the SEC champions as well as the National Champions.
Am I cocky, no just confident. But of course all Vol fans are that way when IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!
