| There's a place for us my darling, Where there's no tears or rain, Where everything is beautiful, And no-one suffers pain. This place my son is Heaven, I know you know that's true, Because my precious David, You're there with Angels too. I know you're playing happily In Heaven's nursery, But does our Lord love you as much As I do my baby? Are fluffy clouds your pillows, To lay your head at night? And do the stars just twinkle, To give you little light? Son, will you watch and wait for me When my life here is done? Will you take me back right home with you, And sing the sweetest song? The song the Angels taught you, To welcome your mommy? That day my dear the sun will shine, At night a star will glisten, And everyone I leave behind Will hear us if they listen, You'll sing the sweetest song of love, Whilst I'm embracing you, And hear my cries of happiness, Cos David, I've found you. You know how much I loved you so, What makes you think that I would go? I am an Angel, don't you see? I live in Heaven's nursery, But I can come and go when pleased, Do you not hear me in the breeze?
