I didn't get a chance to say 'I love you' You were gone before we got that far, All I know is now I really need you, Yet when I look for you, you aren't there. You said once that you never would forget me, Yet how am I to know without you here? Such emptiness! Like what I feel within me, Neither flesh nor tears, just cold, thin air. Sometimes alone, I feel your arms around me, And all my need for you spills out in pain. Jagged memories of you surround me, I cannot think I won't see you again. Loving you with all my heart, Your wife, Donna Marie xxxx

Dear Dad Dear dad, oh how we need you here and want you just to know, We'd love to have a day with you, why did you have to go? You could have taught us how to fish, I know we'd do you proud, The fun the three of us could have, the laughs we'd share so loud! We never really knew you dad, yet mom says you loved us much, If only we could see you here, to hug and feel your touch. If only we could go kick ball, go walking, having fun, Just like the other fathers do each weekend with their son. We lost a lifetime's love dear dad, and yet our love is strong, We know you watch us closely as our waking day's begun. Dear dad, never let us go, please never let us part, For we love you so very much, you're right here in our heart. One day I hope we meet again, and make up all these years, Where we can play and tease and hug, and never shed our tears. We will always love you dad and think of you, Lots of love from sons Josh & Ashton xxxx
A Daughters Love A daughter loves her father, this we know is true, But its hard to keep that special bond if dad's not here with you, You'll never walk me down the aisle or kneel with me to pray, And make me very proud of you as you give me away! You'll never hold my babies in the future as they're born, They'll never see their grandad, or realise I'm torn. Why did you have to go away, why can't you come back here? I need you on a lonely night when dreams leave me in fear. A daughter's love runs very deep, I know yours must do too, Please promise you'll watch over me until I'm home with you. With lots of love dear dad, your daughter Heather Louise xxxx
