Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase

Inducted June 25th 2005

Known mostly for his mid eighties WWF heel persona of the Million Dollar Man, Ted Dibiase is actually a very well accomplished second generation wrestler who should be included in any hall of fame.  Dibiase has been known for not only some of the greatest technical matches by a wrestling heel, but also as a major influence in the WWE's future of creating stars.  It was through Dibiase's Million Dollar Man persona that the WWE introduced  4 time WWE Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker and  5 time WWE Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, plus he was instrumental in Andre The Giant winning the title (aswell as being reconized as Champion himself for about a week following the fall out of Andre's February 5th 1988 victory over Hulk Hogan) and has held the WWE Tag Team Titles with Mike  "Irwin R Schyster " Rotunda as Money Inc.

Dibiase retired from in ring competition, when doctors told him he was risking injury or even death (his dad Iron Mike Dibiase died in ring) if he continued to wrestle, and formed the Million Dollar Corperation, a stable that included Schyster, Nicoli Volkoff, Tatanka and Bam Bam Bigelow (who while under Dibiase's management challenged Lawrence Taylor in the Main Event of WrestleMaina 11)

an When he left WWE in 1996 his importantance to the wrestling world continued as he become the "Billionaire Ted" benefactor for the New World Order (nWo) in their early development on WCW's Monday Nitro.  He later left the nWo to manage the Steiner brothers to the WCW World Tag Team Titles before leaving Pro Wrestling to focus on finding religion.

Today Dibiase works on promoting Christian based wrestling cards that have featured Sting and Road Warrior Animal as well as working as a creative consultant for WWE's smackdown brand.

Ricky The Dragon Steamboat

Inducted July 29th 2005
Ricky Steamboat has said in interviews that the WWF's offices once told him that he "could take a chainsaw and cut Hulk Hogan's arms off and the fans wouldn't believe him as a heel" and perhaps no statement could be truer when it comes to Steamboat.  The Dragon, as he is known around the world to fans is is perhaps best known for two Matches, his WrestleMaina 3 Intercontinental Championship win over Randy "Macho Man" Savage in 1987 and defeating Ric Flair to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship two years later.

Steamboat, who debuted in the mid 1970's and was trained by AWA promoter Verne Gange, has held the United States Heavy weight Championship on 3 sepearte runs (2 under the NWA banner and a 3rd under the WCW promotion) he's been a World Tag Team Championship partner eight times (6 NWA and 2 WCW), the WWE Intercontinental Champion, WCW Television Champion  and the NWA World Heavyweight champion, retiring from the ring in 1995 due to back injuries.

Steamboat now spends his days managing the racing carrier of his son Ritchie and coaching up and coming wrestlers

Many tend to remember the WWE's Women's champions like Alundra Blaze, Wendy Ricter and of course the Fabulos Moolah, but few remember Rockin' Robin Smith.  Smith defeated Sherri Martel to  win the championship on October 7th 1998, holding it tell the WWE suspended the women's division in 1990 and while very little is abailable about this champion's past I felt she deserved to be honored in the hall of fame.

SUPERFLY JIMMY SNUKA

Inducted Sept. 30th 2005

The Superfly, the very name instills images of top rope body splashes prior to the creation of the Cruiserweight or X-Division. Jimmy Snuka debuted in the wrestling business in 1977 before joining the WWE in 1982, where he became the inspirationn for a young Mick Foley's carrer. Starting as a Heel Snuka became a face when Nature Boy Buddy Rogers helped Snuka realize that his manager at the time, Capt. Lou Albano, wasnt working in Snuka's best interest.

Snuka's most memerable fude actually started in 1994 when, while a guest on the Piper's Pit, Rowdy Roddy Piper smashed Snuka over the head with a coconut and at Wrestlemaina 1 Snuka was in the corner of Mr. T and Hulk Hogan. In 1992 Snuka made history by becomming the first ECW Heavyweight Champion (at that time the federation was named Eastern Championship Wrestling) and in the late days of WCW Snuka took a cage match against Jeff Jarrett, in which Jarrett won but still got hit with the Superfly splash.

SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM
Inducted: Oct. 21st 2005

Perhaps no one wrestler has influenced the look of the Muscleman Wrestler then Superstar Billy Graham. Hulk Hogan, Scott Stiner, Lex Luger, Chris Masters Austin Idol and even Ric Flair all amoung the list of names who has impersonated the Superstar's look and actions in one way or another. Even Don Muroco benefited from Graham's manageral skils and along the way added the trade mark theme music of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and the Tie-Dye tank tops to his look.

But the superstar was more then just his look, he trained with Arnold Swartzenegger during his hayday and held the WWWF Championship from April 30th 1977 to February 20, 1978 defeateing Bruno Samartino and loosing to Bob Backland
