Biography My name is David Owen. I began playing piano when in 1992 as an exchange student in Brazil - Blame it on the Bossa Nova. Soon I got hooked on jazz and then everything opened up. In 2000, I completed a BA Degree in Music from University of New Mexico. Since then I have traveled around performing a very broad spectrum of music; Variety, Classical, Jazz, Salsa, Blues, Funk, etc. for innumerable functions such as 5 star Hotels, Casinos, Concerts, Clubs, Piano Bars, Weddings, Parties and Cruise Ships. I now teach and gig regularly in San Diego. |
