| Extract from site HSE induction hand out: "Do not attempt to capture, kill or otherwise molest the assorted wildlife that you may come across. If you see something that you think will pose a hazard to personnel, report it to the Camp Boss, Safety Officer or your Supervisor. NOTE : The Safety Department already know what snakes , scorpions etc. look like, so don't bring examples in to our office to prove there was one, we believe you." In reality it is best to put any dangerous reptiles or insects in some fragile improvised container and just leave it on my desk. When I get back to my office I enjoy finding sand vipers in coffee jars. The scorpion in the paper clip box was my personal favourite. |

| This one arrived without the benefit of any kind of container, black ones have a relatively laid back approach to life, but no one tries this with the yellow ones. | ||||||||
| This is safely ensconced in my cooler, prior to release in a safe location. The yellow ones are born in a bad mood. | ||||||||

| This is a medium sized camel spider. I recommend downloading this one to allow examination at greater definition. Definitely a high score in the "Oh my God" index. | ||||||||
