The idea for the Scouts Trading Table is not a new idea. This informal group got its beginning back in the early 1980's. The group was originally formed by three Scouters within the Atlanta Area Council, Dave Corley, Jim McWilliams and myself, as a blind (no published list) swap shop. Basically, a scout sent in one CSP and we mailed one CSP back. Of course, any request was accommodated if possible, but we made no promises. The original trading table lasted a couple of years but fell by the wayside when marriage, college, work, etc got in the way.

Then in 1997 the Trading Table returned. This time, the inventory is published, and the working capital is much improved.

Please look below for something of interest or drop me a note with a request. I currently live and work in or across three different councils. As such, I have access to most all of the CSPs here in the State of Georgia. My current trading interest is in the older twill issues as well as issues from closed or merged councils.

NEWS

My, o, my, where has the time gone...The last two years have been an absolute rat race. Between a job transfer, helping to maintain a growing pack as Cubmaster, helping to charter a new Scout Troop as Committee Chairman, and serving as a de facto member of the Council's Cub Camping Committee, I did not realize that the page had fallen into such disaray. For any of you that visited over the last six months and found dead links or worse, I sincerely apologize. Please take a minute or two, look around, and drop me a note about a trade. I will try to update the dupes list here in the next couple of days. Until then, I have the Flint River and Atlanta Area strips is hand. LET'S TRADE!!!!!

Please take a minute and look the list over. If you see something you need please drop me a line. I am willing to trade singles out of my collection that do not fit my collecting interest. This does not mean I am having a fire sale, but I will consider a reasonable offer.
