Mine Eyes
Are like the reflective mirror
on a wall. They show what
the world is physically doing.
Mine Eyes..
are like the surface of
a crystal lake. A mere
reflection is only as beautiful
as the surroundings.
Mine Eyes...
Are barriers that show
the world as it is, but, hold
back the horrors & creations
of the mind and soul.
Mine Eyes..
Are deceptive. Not always
do they listen to me, but
betray me. they let others look
in and me look out at the world
in a crystal clear trueness..
