| As you can see, this tunnel is over 2.5 km long. I did travel with lights for such occassions. The road in this and other tunnels did not have much of a shoulder. It was quite stressful not only due to the lack of space but to the noise of passing vehicles that reverberated through-out the tunnel. Some of these tunnels had roads that split in two directions...aahhh, Japanese engineering! |
