Mt. Fuji
Here I am at the top at 3776m.
Each time I climbed Fuji it was unique. When I climbed this time, an electrical storm was raging just above us. The flashes of lightening lit up the mountainside continuously. It also rained heavily, so by the time I arrived, I was drenched.
However, I did pack warm clothing in a plastic bag in my backpack. I quickly changed and waited for the sunrise.
As the morning broke, we held our collective breaths. That moment was one of the most peaceful moments I have ever experienced. Even with so many people on hand, the silence was deafening.
