| Mt. Fuji |
| In the above photo, I paused as I cycled up the Fuji-Subaru Toll Road. This road ends at the Fifth Stage (gogome). I enjoyed the cycle up for two reasons: (1) there were almost no cars in either direction, and (2) I didn't have to contend with the humidity, glaring sun or heat. The picture to the right was taken at gogome. There are gift shops, restaurants, and hikers (exhausted ones returning and exhilerated yet apprehensive ones going.) |
