| This was a religious ceremony marking the "Coming of Age" for the older boys of the village. After this ritual dance, the soon-to-be-men headed into the jungle alone with only a few implements. The rest of the village saw them off as they entered the jungle. After two weeks, these boys were welcomed back as men. | ||||||||
