Every morning, I would start cycling in a heavy mist. This gave the place a mysterious quality. The picture on the left shows the national highway leading to Ivory Coast.
     As the sun shone and dried up the mist, I would see some stunning views from the road. The above picture was taken from the main highway in Ivory Coast as I made my way to Yamoussoukro, the President's home village. Yamoussoukro boasted extremely wide boulevards, large buildings and a replica of St. Peters Bascillica called the
Bascilica of Our Lady of Peace.
