| Vic's Prerequisites for Sex in Worship Taken from Sexy Spiritual Christians Newsgroup Vic, you are a rascal in not explaining your prerequisites, as that is suppose to be a kind of rule HERE, that members don't post one liners without explanation. And here you go posting , just five words. Nevertheless it shows you are thinking and praying and following along, and adding to the discussion. Good on you, VIC. But all I can give is my impression of what those words mean to me,so you and others will have to fill in the spaces yourselves rather than take my impressions to heart or mind...... or as we should always do. Ask the Lord. So Vic, you said, we need .... DESIRE, LOVE, COMPASSION, THIRST, GRATITUDE DESIRE. Desire to melt together with the Lord and with others, YES Just mere sexual desire... NO. But having a sexual desire to mate with them without fear, without prejudice, SURE, as long as that sexual desire in a worship ceremony was not put FIRST. Him first, others second, and us last.... is surely still the secret to fulfillment and satisfaction and success, especially in a sexual worship service LOVE ABSOLUTELY, we would have to all have LOVE for the Lord and love for each other. This the dark side just can;t do, because of pride, in fioghting egos etc. but we would have to have gotten over the majority of this.... not all, as we never reach love's perfection .... and just have the faith to love, knowing that we ourselves are just as unworthy as the next. We're all EQUAL in His Love because it is ONLY HIM that makes any of us righteous. COMPASSION, probably means empathy or concern for the others involved.. and YES we have to have had compassion for them, for that is part of love. But then again in a worship service to the King, I think we would have to forget everything, forget our problems, forget our shortcomings and even to a degree the empathy we have on others and just concentrate on the LORD, when we worship our King. As we do that, he heals us and all others, so we become ONE. THIRST, so of like hunger, and a rather different word as a prerequisite, Vic. But YES, thirst implies hungering for the water, or the elixir of life or thirsting for His truths or His direct intimate love. believe means drink IN, and so to drink IN His words, HIS SEEDS, we all have to thirst to BELIEVE, receive and take IN. And this can be very literal sexually, if you all have been following along as to what the elixir of life, probably is. We have to concummate our love and love making with the exchange of His words, or our seeds in climax. And I think and believe it goes both ways. (IYKWIM) GRATITUDE, again Vic, well done and very spiritual and TRUE. Before starting a ceremony of love or love feast, we have to have gratitude in our heart for our physical health, mental health, and spiritual eternity that the Lord has promised us. We have to be thankful before, irregardless of situations and just be able to thank our King for His goodness with a full heart, despite our aches and pains and sufferings, and just ENTER IN or be entered IN. For only then, can we afterwards be also GRATEFUL and THANKFUL to the Lord for loving us. Psa 96:4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be PRAISED: he is to be FEARed above all gods. For our service to the King is not a momentary fling of singing and praising and then going our separate ways into the world before returning next week, to pretend to serve Him again. SORRY, our worship service is to empower us to serve the King, to serve others in love. Our ceremony, our love feast is to strengthen us for the weekly or monthly or yearly battles and trials beyond. It is not our service to the KING. "Herein is my Father glorified, that we bear much fruit." The Lord will only be happy with us His Bride if we are fruitful and in a sense get prgenant with his love and seeds and pass them on to others, so that we bear much fruit for our Husband, JESUS. Somehow, someway, and sometimes we have to take the inititive and witness His Love to others, and show His Love to others. It is not a requirement, but just a natural release of His love flowing through us, that just has to come out. And we just want to return to Him for a refreshing refilling of His Love in the bed of His love for more, and hopefully enough of our brethren will be around so we can do it ALL-TOGETHER again.
